I ran across news of a very interesting update to Google Earth this morning. You can now use Google Earth to tell stories with a series of locations on a map, complete with multiple pictures and text if you wish. Check out my Google Earth tour of a wonderful little in southern Brazil called Rio Vermelho that I lived in with my family back in 2009. You get a full tour of the nearby beach and our neighbourhood haunts.

If you’d like to create your own story map, make sure you have a google account and then follow this link to the Google Earth web edition. Then click on the project button on the right side of the screen. Enjoy!
