Need to put together a nice looking flow chart or organizational chart, but don’t want to fork out hundreds of dollars for Microsoft Visio? If so, Creately.com may fit the bill. I’ve played around with it for a few minutes, and it seems to have enough features to keep me happy.
One of the features that Creately has that visio does not is the ability to easly collaborate with up to 5 people on a diagram or chart, for free. If you need more than 5 people involved on a project, or do not want the Creatly logo on the charts you print out, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid account.
Here some info from the Creately website:
- Create fast, professional looking diagrams with Creately’s large library of objects and easy start templates. Now you can draw anything easily.
- Collaborate with your team and clients with easy sharing, publishing and post-it style comments. Multi version support means you never lose your work.
- A fully interactive interface that works right in your browser along with industry standard encryption and redundant backups. No downloads or installs necessary.
- Great features like Magic Connectors, Contextual Toolbars and our special 1-Click Create-n-Connect button make diagramming a pleasure.
